Her strong will to live and unwavering faith in God and the love and support of family and friends carried her through her struggles in life. She had a contagious smile and a wonderful sense of humor. Throughout her life, she maintained a very sweet and simple demeanor that won the trust and hearts of many. She came to the United States on July 4, 1961, and was extremely proud to be an American citizen. She loved and was devoted to her family and always helped them throughout her life.
She loved Illinois State University especially fond of Reggie the Redbird. She was a St. Louis Cardinal fan, but kept it a secret because we have Cub fans in our family. She loved going for long car rides, going to the movies, birdwatching, and going out to dinner with family.
She was deeply loved by family and friends and will be greatly missed. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Our family is deeply grateful for the outpouring of love, prayers, and support from many people.
A special thank you to the nurses and staff at St. John’s Hospital, and also a special thank you to the nurses and staff at El Paso Health Care Center for taking good care of her for the past few years. Our family is deeply grateful for the outpouring of love, prayers, and support from many people.
