Arlo Robert Laue

Arlo Robert Laue passed on April 19, 2026, at the age of 75, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on May 2, 1950, in Estherville Iowa, to Clarence and Bertina Laue. Arlo was a resident of Le Roy, Illinois. On December 12, 2006, Arlo married the love of his life, Wanita Schofield.

A beloved and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, he held his family close, and he shared an especially close bond with his grandson, Aiden Elmore.

Arlo enjoyed traveling, camping, having coffee with friends, and working outdoors. When he wasn’t outside keeping busy, he could often be found enjoying his favorite downtime activity—watching TV.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Wanita Laue; children, Michael Laue, Lisa(Jeff) Kungle, Andrew(Sarah)Elmore, and Tyler Elmore; brothers, Dale(Karen)Laue and Arlen(Denise) Laue; 11 grandchildren; and a host of family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
