Calvin F. Miller

Calvin F. Miller of Normal passed away Friday November 22, 2013 at Advocate Bromenn Medical Center, by his side were his children William, Dorothea, Cal and his daughter-in-law Marianne and his grand-daughter Danielle.

Calvin is survived by his three children, 11 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

His loving parents and wife preceded him in death.

Calvin was born December 14, 1924 in Lilly, Illinois the son of Fred and Bertha (Woodrum) Miller.

Calvin married the love of his life Betty J. Mahanna on March 2, 1946 in Springfield, Illinois. Calvin for many years was the superintendent of the McGrath Sand and Gravel Plant in Bloomington. He retired from the Physical Plant Building Service at ISU in Normal in 1988. He graduated from High School in Mackinaw.

Calvin was a member of the Christian Faith. Both Calvin and his loving wife shared a mutual love for animals, Calvin has requested in lieu of flowers, please send memorials to the Humane Society of Central Illinois, 423 Kays Drive, Normal IL 61761

Calvin, The Father, Grandfather, and Great Grandfather was loved dearly by his family and his passing has left a huge void in the hearts of his family.

Private services were held at East Lawn Funeral Home, Bloomington.
