Candy was an artist and her passion was crafting. She loved waking up every morning and sitting down at her craft table with a hot cup of coffee. After two years of selling her unique handmade jewelry at the local Farmer's Market she expanded her business to local renaissance fairs and other festivals. The business continued to grow and now 11 years later Candy's Creations 4U vends at over 30 weekends per year at large and small renaissance fairs throughout the midwest. The business is a family effort with her husband and children selling her wares while she stayed home and spent several hours every day working on her product.
Candy also enjoyed going to music concerts, taking care of her animals and was an active member of Calvary Baptist Church, Normal.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, October 7, 2026 with a visitation held prior to the service at 10:00 at Calvary Baptist Church, 1017 N. School Street, Normal, IL. Cremation rites have been accorded. East Lawn Funeral Home is assisting the family.
