Caroline Ward

Caroline was born October 24, 1935, in Towanda, the daughter of Percy and Alta Robinson Miller. She married Jerry Carver. Later in life, she married Russell Ward.

Surviving are her children; Paula Atkins and Brian Carver, both of Bloomington; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husbands, her parents, five brothers, and two sisters.

Caroline retired from the Eureka Company after working there forty years. She later worked at the Law and Justice Center, Bloomington. She was a member of the Bloomington VFW Post 454 Women’s Auxiliary Club. She loved attending I.S.U. basketball games.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, January 26, 2017 at East Lawn Funeral Home. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service in Pennell Cemetery, Towanda. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Bloomington Ladies Auxiliary Junior Unit.
