Catherine Ann Lee Bourne

She was born February 14, 1917, in Las Animas, CO, the daughter of Stanley Curtis and Mary Grace Elder Lee. She married Ira Marshall Bourne on October 6, 1951 in Colfax. He preceded her in death.

Surviving are their children; Marshall (Karen) Bourne of Argenta, IL ; Karen (Dave) Stanley of Champaign, IL; Chuck Bourne and special friend Cynthia Garrison of Bloomington ; and Robert (Sydney) Bourne of Colfax; a sister-in-law, Cha Lee of Bloomington; 5 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a grandson; two brothers, Burnham “Bud” Lee, and Richard Lee.

Catherine enjoyed art, especially painting. She processed photography as a hobby. She also enjoyed traveling, playing cards, and spending time with her family.

Cremation has been accorded, a memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 16, 2016 at East Lawn Funeral Home. Committal service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at East Lawn Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to the donor’s choice.
