Charles Edwin Fowler

His funeral service will be held at 12 noon on Monday, February 16, 2026 at East Lawn Funeral Home, Bloomington, with the visitation beginning at 11 am. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday at De Land Cemetery in De Land.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pet Central Helps in Normal or the American Heart Association.

He was born on February 4, 1939, in Ellsworth, son of William Carlos and Eva Esther Holt Fowler. He married Patricia "Pat" A. Burton on October 13, 1979 in De Witt.

Surviving are his wife, Pat, of Bloomington; two sons, Scott Fowler of Streator and Todd Fowler of Wisconsin. Also surviving are one sister, Ruth Wedding of Texas and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by nine siblings.

Chuck retired after many years of working alongside his brother, Harold, at his Phillips 66 Station in Normal.

He enjoyed watching stock car races, the Chicago Cubs and spending time outside doing yard work and smoking his pipe.
