Dana E Monical, 74, of Bloomington, passed away Monday, November 26, 2018 at his residence.
Dana was born June 10, 1944, in Bloomington, the son of William and Ruth Marshall Monical.
Surviving are his two sons, Eric Monical of Pontiac and Jerry (Jennifer) Monical of Paducah, Kentucky; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren; two brothers, Jerry (Phyllis) Monical of Carlock and Larry Monical of Ozone, Arkansas.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, and two grandchildren.
Dana served in United States Army after high school. Later in life, he worked as a concrete finisher for many years.
Dana enjoyed the outdoors, especially skydiving. He had the opportunity to skydive on his 50th birthday. He also loved to travel out west. He was able to visit 49 states.
Per Dana’s wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. A celebration of life will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, December 8, 2018 at East Lawn Funeral Home in Bloomington.
