He was born on November 24,1943 in Bloomington, Illinois to Edward and Marjorie Jaspers. Daniel married the love of his life Mary Riebe on February 27,1967 in Bloomington, Illinois, together they shared 58 years of love.
Daniel enjoyed life, he was a big joker, loved fishing, working on cars, drawing, and helping anyone in need. He was an avid country music listener. He was proud of his military career serving in the United States Army.
He leaves to cherish his memory, wife; Mary Jaspers, son; James E Jaspers, daughter; Deborah E (Richard) Folks, grandchildren; Sarah Folks, and Rick Folks, and a host of family and friends.

Visitation will be Friday November 14,2025 at 10am with funeral service to follow at 11am. at East Lawn Funeral Home 1102 Airport Rd, Bloomington, Illinois.
