Darlene was a very strong, kind and independent women. Darlen worked at McLean County Center for Human Services and retired in December 2007. After retirement she later volunteered her time at OSF Medical Center in Bloomington.She had many hobbies in her life, but she found joy in crafting, painting and most of all helping others. She will truly be missed by all that knew her.
She leaves to cherish her memory, nephews Wade (Debbie) Myrick and John (Lisa) Healea; nieces, Anita Myrick, Sandra (Steve) Lienhop, Cindy (Don) Samford, Julie Martin, and Tonya Healea; Lifelong friend Joanne Zazzara.
Preceded by parents, sisters; Charlene Healea, Linda Myrick, and Eleanor James.

A graveside service for Darlene will be held Monday, October 13, 2025, 1:00 PM at East Lawn Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home, 1102 Airport Road, Bloomington, IL 61704.
