David Timothy Geraghty

David Timothy “Tim” Geraghty, age 78, of Bloomington, passed away Friday November 1, 2024 at McLean County Nursing Home. He was born October 15, 1946 to David and Jane (Harris) Geraghty in Youngstown, OH.

Tim attended Normal Community High School and was a member of the graduating class of 1964. He later earned a Bachelor’s degree in physical education from Illinois State University. He served in the United States Air Force during Vietnam. He worked for UPS for many years before his retirement in the mid 1990’s.

Tim is survived by his children: Trisha (Bryan) Lange of Aurora, IL and Ryan (Valerie) Geraghty of Brownsburg, IN; six grandchildren: Kaitlyn Lange, Emily Lange, Avery Geraghty, Natalie Geraghty, Luke Geraghty, and Ella Geraghty; his sister Jane Whitman of Colorado, nieces Jana Whitman and Jennifer Whitman of Colorado, and nephew Mark (Susie) Geraghty of Bloomington.

Tim was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Mike Geraghty.

Cremation rites have been accorded and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. East Lawn Funeral Home 1102 Airport Rd Bloomington, IL 61704 has been entrusted with arrangements for Mr. Tim Geraghty. Memories and condolences may be shared with the family at eastlawnmemorial.com
