David Duane Williams Sr.

He was born March 25, 1956 to Loyal Gale and Priscilla (George) Williams Jr in Clinton, IL.

He is survived by his mother; sons David (Sarah) Williams Jr. of Longmont, CO and Jeromy (Jamie Blevins) Williams of LeRoy; three grandchildren Denver and Phoenix Williams, and Caidyn Williams; brother Donald (Peggy) Williams of Bloomington; nephew Ken Williams of Kentucky.

He was preceded in death by his father.

He worked in maintenance for Bloomington Water Reclamation District for 36 years until his retirement. David enjoyed working with stained glass. He was also a very skilled wood worker. He was a very patriotic man. He loved doing anything for everyone, and more than anything he loved his grandkids.

Funeral service will be Saturday August 17, 2019 at 12 p.m. with visitation from 10a.m. to 12p.m. at East Lawn Funeral Home. Pastor Garry Gromley will officiate. Entombment will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in David’s name to Lexington United Methodist Church and the VFW of Bloomington.
