Delbert Earl Morgan

Delbert Earl Morgan, 91, died at 10:14 a.m., on December 27, 2023 at his residence in Godfrey, Illinois. He was born on January 21, 1932 in Kankakee, Illinois, the only child of the late Samuel Earl and Elsie Irene (Brammer) Morgan. On January 18, 1964, he married Virginia Ann Shelley in Kankakee, Illinois and she survives. Also surviving, are a daughter, Michelle (John) Roosa of Godfrey, Illinois, a son, Richard Morgan of Danforth, Illinois, seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Besides his parents he is preceded in death by a daughter, Jamie Morgan and a son, David Morgan.

Delbert graduated from Kankakee High School and began working for International Harvester. He continued his career as a Truck Maintenance and Parts and Services Manager for Kenworth and Nussbaum Trucking. Delbert was a wonderful son, husband, father, papa, uncle, cousin, and friend. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.
