Delores Mae Cronholm

Delores Mae Cronholm, 92, of Joliet, passed away July 26th, 2022. She was born August 2, 1929 to David and Loretta (Finney) Carter in Joliet, IL and married the love of her life, Russell Cronholm on January 30, 1978 in Hawaii. Surviving are the her daughter: Carol (Carl) Clover; grandchildren: Callaway Clover, Carlee Clover, Carter Clover, and Connor Cronholm; siblings: David (Dana) Carter, Mary Loretta Wachtl, and many nieces and nephews. She is proceeded in death by her spouse: Russell; son: Chris Cronholm; and parents. Delores, AKA Grandma Dee, was everyone’s favorite grandma. No one was a stranger and no one was more selfless or comforting than she was. You could never walk in the door without a full meal or an incredible dessert waiting for you at the table. She was the best at making everyone and everything feel so special. Some people love people, some people love to help people and she did both. She had the best way with words. Her thoughtful notes, her detailed plans, and her meticulous stories - she always knew the right words to say and here we are fighting to find the words that live up to the life that she lived.
