She was born July 1, 1930 to Charles A. and Elizabeth R. (Tropp) Kaplan in Chicago, Il. She married Lyle G. Schroeder February 12, 1949 in Manteno, Il. He preceded her in death September 22, 2001 in Bourbonnais, Il.
Dolores is survived by her daughter Lila (Michael) Norvell of Normal, Il, son Charles (Deb) Schroeder of Manila, Ar.; three grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and daughter Elizabeth L. Schroeder.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the caregivers at the Bickford House and Advocate BroMenn Hospice for taking such wonderful care of Dolores.
Cremation rites have been accorded. East Lawn Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
Inurnment will take place Thursday March 5, 2020 at All Saints Cemetery in Bourbonnais, Il.
Memorial contributions may be made to Advocate BroMenn Hospice.
