She was born March 23, 1925 in Detroit, MI to Edward and Evelyn (Bolitho) Woodworth. In 1948 she married Douglas Garfield McLaren.
Claire enjoyed reading and loved to travel and spend time with her family.
Survivors include her children: Diana (Morris) McLaren Osburn of Normal, Craig (Camy) McLaren of Chillicothe, Dave (Lynn) McLaren of Ohio and Kirk (Lindora) McLaren of Pennsylvania; grandchildren: Garrett, Austin, Taylor, Shane, Megan, Eric and Ben.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband and one brother.
Private Family Services were held.
