Although our contact was limited since the Hanson family moved from Santa Rosa, CA I have many wonderful memories of Gail as a tireless volunteer for our school district and greatly enjoyed assisting with activities she chaired. I will never forget seeing her super fast-paced daily walks along the streets in our neighborhood. Over the years I so enjoyed receiving the annual Hanson Christmas photo card and updates on the family. To all of you, my sincere sympathy in your loss. May you find peace and strength in the cherished memories you have of a most special lady.

When Gail and Roger lived in Santa Rosa California, she was one of our Strawberry School PTA's finest. We would work together every Friday cooking hot dogs for the school children. She always brought a smile to our faces. God's blessings on the family.

I just found out about the passing of my Kappa Delta sister. "Foutsie" was loved by all in our house for her spirit and great sense of humor. Although we never lived in the same state after graduation from IWU I enjoyed staying in touch during these years and hearing about her growing family. It was such a joy to see her in person again when we both showed up for IWU Homecoming one year. I am so sorry for your loss but may your many memories sustain you during this sad time.

Gail was such a sweet friend as we were nurse and camp counselor at Second Pres Church Camp. We shared laughs, stories and tears. She will be missed. So sorry for your loss! Blessings to Roger and family.

I met Gail about 22 years ago when I was secretary at Fairview Elementary School and she was the nurse. She came about once a month to check student physical records and to bring me some of that special tape I loved that didn't make children's booboos worse. She subsequently underwent surgery and stem therapy for her cancer. She was a delightful, energetic, special lady, and I am sorry to hear of her death. God bless you as you grieve for your loved one. - Judy Hirsch

So sorry for your loss. I was one of her kids at Parkside and had a lot of health issues so spent a lot of time with her. She took great care of me and was always there when I needed to talk.
