He was born on August 4, 1935, in Bloomington, IL, the son of Glen E. and Freda L. (Hisle) Plotner. Glen Graduated from University High School in Normal. He served in the United States Air Force and was stationed in Arizona. He married Marilyn Wilkins and they had two children, Brian and Shelly. Marilyn preceded him in death and he later married Shirley Breeding. They were avid golfers until she passed away in March of 2005. He was a limousine driver for many years involving group taking tours all over the United States. He was a huge Chicago White Sox fan as well as the Green Bay Packers. He is survived by his two children and their spouses, a grandson, Brian and his sister Ina Bradford and brother-in-law George.
