Howard Robert Pearson

He was born April 10, 1948 in Normal, IL to Howard Mikesell and Nellie Ruth (Byrd) Pearson. Bob married the love of his life, Shelley Ann (Juvinall) Pearson. She precedes him in death.

After High School, Bob went on to take some college courses. He worked at Eureka Williams for many years where he established many friendships he still maintained. Bob retired in 2010 from ISU where he worked for the registrar’s office. He was a whiz with computers. He loved going to his grandchildren’s sporting events, golfing, camping, fishing, woodworking, and traveling with his beloved wife. Bob was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Lexington, IL.

Surviving are his children, Alicia (Dan) Palmer of Lexington, IL, Matt (Shelly) Pearson of Mt.Pulaski, IL; grandchildren, Michael Emberton, Jordan (Megan) Pearson, Jordan (Jennie) Luczaj, Daniele Palmer, and Paige Pearson; great grandchildren, Mackenzie Pearson and Estelle Emberton; and a host of nieces and one nephew.

Bob is preceded in death by parents and one sister, Coralie Miller.

There will be a private inurnment and celebration of life at a later date.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of East Lawn Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens.
