She was born on September 14, 1943, in New Madrid, MO, daughter of Lawrence Rufus and Emma V. Deavers Russell.
Surviving are two sons, Keith (Rhonda) Jenkins of Normal and Jay Jenkins of Bloomington and one grandson.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Jane was a 1962 graduate of Normal Community High School. She retired after a long career working as a purchasing agent for building design at State Farm Insurance Company, corporate office in Bloomington.
Jane loved dogs and had many furry friends over the years. She also enjoyed traveling.
There will be no service or visitation. A private inurnment will take place at Park Hill Cemetery, Bloomington at a later date. East Lawn Funeral Home is assisting the family.
