Jeffrey "Jef" P. Krut

He was born on September 10, 1947 in New Brighton, PA, son of Richard and Viola Vasbinder Krut. He married Deborah J. Burke on May 18, 1968.

Surviving are his wife of Bloomington; two sons, Jason Krut of Ottawa and Derek (Elizabeth) Krut of Bloomington and three grandchildren, Olivia & Kaden Krut and Grayson Krut. Also surviving are one brother, Eric (Cheryl) Krut and one sister, Louise (John) Weber, both of Fombell, PA.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Richard Krut.

Jef was a United States Vietnam Navy veteran. After his military service, he worked as a technician for AT&T in Downers Grove and later Lucent Technologies in Lisle before retirement.

He enjoyed working on the family farm and helping other farmers with their crops, but he loved the time he spent working on his Harleys, and painting vehicles and tractors as a pastime.

There will be no services or visitation. Cremation rites have been accorded by East Lawn Funeral Home, Bloomington.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to charity of the donor's choice.
