

She was born on March 3, 1966 in Lincoln, IL, daughter of Merv and Peggy Louise (Letterle) Thompson. Her parents have preceded her in death.
Surviving are two sisters, Toni Thompson of Florida and Amy (David) Donaldson of Bloomington; one niece, Kara (Jonathon) Olivares, whom she helped raise, and a great-niece, Layani Crumpler, both of Bloomington. She also leaves behind Darwin Thompson Jr and Crystal Bright.
Julee enjoyed a long-career with AFNI where she worked in collections. She later worked at State Farm Insurance Company for several years in the claims department.
She liked to travel, and especially enjoyed her roadtrips with her niece to concerts and Rivermen Hockey games. She also loved art and history and cherished her time with her family. Julee was a cherished daughter, sister, aunt, great-aunt and cousin. Her great-niece, Layani, will forever cherish her dinners with Julee at Tobin's and their evenings watching "Lottery Dream Home" together.
In her younger years, Julee liked swimming in the family pool and playing water baseball. She also loved making TCBY runs with her cousin, Crystal.
Because of Julee's love for books and reading, please direct any memorials to your local library.
Per Julee's wishes there will be no visitation or service. Cremation rites have been accorded by East Lawn Funeral Home, Bloomington.
