She was born October 1, 1926 in Decatur, daughter of Delmar and Alice Shawver Jones. She married John Artis. She later married Ed Seeman, he preceded her in death. June was also preceded in death by one daughter, Kim Passoni; one sister, Maureen Campbell and one brother, Bill Jones.
Surviving are one daughter, Patti (Stephen, Sr.) Kuhnke of Normal; four sons, Bruce (Bianca) Kozlauskes of El Paso, IL, David (Vicky) Artis of Naperville, Rick (Anita) Artis and Larry Artis, both of Bloomington; 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are two sisters, Helen Perini of Lemont and Irene May of Joliet and one brother, Frank Jones of Lockport.
June enjoyed garage sale-ing, gardening and camping.
There will be no visitation or services. Private Inurnment will be at East Lawn Memorial Gardens in Bloomington. Cremation rites have been accorded by East Lawn Funeral Home in Bloomington.
