Katherine Irene Bradley

Katherine I. Bradley, 70, of Bloomington, passed away on Sunday, December 21, 2025 at her home.

Per Kathy's wishes there will be no visitation or service. Cremation rites have been accorded by East Lawn Funeral Home, Bloomington.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Central Illinois.

She was born May 31, 1955 in Peoria, daughter of Donald N. and Mary Ellen Boland McCall.

Stephen Bradley was born on July 13, 1957 in Kewanee, son of Donald and Betty Bradley.

Katherine McCall was united in marriage to Stephen Bradley on February 23, 1980. Together they had two children, Kerry and Daniel.

Stephen passed away on August 31, 2019 in Bloomington, IL at the age of 61.

Left behind to cherish their memories are two children, Kerry (Jeff) Uchtorff of Bloomington and Daniel (Lex Dietz) Bradley of Ava and four grandchildren, Alex, Kate, Aoife and Aine. Also surviving are Kathy's brother, Michael (Patty) McCall of Corpus Christie, TX and sister-in-law, Mindy McCall of Peoria and Stephen's sister, Nancy Bradley.

Kathy's brother, Daniel McCall has preceded them in death.

Kathy retired in 2021 after almost 30 years of working as an administrative assistant at Illinois Wesleyan University. She enjoyed writing and was a published author, proud to have some articles printed in the Chicago Tribune.

Stephen worked for 30 years as a finance manager at Bob Dennison Ford. He also enjoyed tending to his yard work and the elaborate outdoor decorating during the Christmas holiday season.

Together, they have enjoyed a loving marriage, raising their children and watching the Green Bay Packers and the Chicago Bulls.
