Kathleen Marie Dunn

Her memorial service will be held at 10:30 am on Saturday, March 28, 2026 at East Lawn Funeral Home, Bloomington. Cremation rites have been accorded and inurnment will take place at East Lawn Memorial Gardens immediately after services.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.

She was born December 14, 1943 in Hartford, CT, daughter of Raymond and Frances Marchant Dunn. She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Crystal Lynn Torres and three brothers, Raymond, Vincent and Victor Dunn.

Surviving are her daughter, Jackie Painter of Bloomington; her son, Robert (Jas) Torres of Marietta, GA; seven grandchildren, Brittney (Brett) Edwards, Jordan (Tim) Bundy-Painter, Crystal (Brandon) Ulrich, Alexis (Mario) Ramirez, Meghan (Chris) Vaughn, Hunter (Hailee) Torres and Noah Torres; 15 great-grandchildren and one brother, Earl (Carol) Dunn of Arkansas.

Kathie worked in home health care for many years. She also worked for 22 years as a hairdresser and had her own shop in Texas and also had worked for JC Penney beauty shop in Bloomington.

She enjoyed collectibles and shopping in antique stores. She also liked to read and travel.
