Kenneth Robert Gallaway

Per Kenneth's wishes, there will be no services or visitation. Cremation rites have been accorded by East Lawn Funeral Home, Bloomington, IL. Inurnment will take place at Fort Custer National Cemetery, Augusta, MI at a later date.

He was born December 7, 1946 in Battle Creek, MI, son of Glenn Ray and Margaret Lydia Taylor Gallaway. He married Judith Jo-Anne Johnson Bowser on September 30, 1999.

Surviving are his wife, Judi, Normal; his daughter, Meghan (Rolland) Taft, Battle Creek, MI; three step-daughters, Traci Ayers, Normal, IL, Holly Carrell, Parker, CO and Amanda Bowser, Vashon, WA and three grandchildren, Raleigh & Camryn Taft and Tyler Ayers. Also surviving are two sisters, Mary Jane (Connie Gibson) Gallaway, Battle Creek, MI and Kathy (Jim) Lefler, Livonia, MI.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Joanne Hayes.

Kenneth was a United States Army veteran.

He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) and resided in Michigan when he retired after a long-career as an electrician.

Ken loved to spend his free time fishing in MIchigan and deep sea fishing in Florida.
