Kenneth was born on August 9th, 1952 to John Luft and Verlina Schultz in Bloomington, IL.
He is preceded in death by both of his parents; step-father, Louis Imig; two sisters: Karen Owen and Darlene Geary; and niece Sarah Owen.
He is survived by sister, Linda (Craig) Baughan of Bloomington; two nieces Edith (Dan) Wentz of Alhambra, CA and Leah (Aaron) Long of Brooksville, FL; and two nephews: Dan (Gretchen) Owen of Franklin, TN and Brent Baughan of Atlanta, GA.
He attended McLean-Waynesville-Armington High School, graduating in 1970.
He retired from Ron Smith Printing Company where he had worked for almost three decades. Prior to his time with the printing company he spent time farming and delivering produce.
Kenneth was known by his friends and family to be a giving and caring man, generous with his time, and always willing to lend a helping hand. When he wasn’t with his family he was likely to be taking a solo cross-country trip on his motorcycle.
Per Kenneth’s wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial service will be held at East Lawn Funeral Home in Bloomington at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association (diabetes.org).
