Laverne was a homebody who loved her family, she found great joy in her grandchildren and great grandchildren. When she was not at home with her family you just knew she was out shopping. Laverne was a avid Elvis Presley fan. She was strong in her faith as a member of the Jehovah witness. Laverne will be missed by all that knew her.
Laverne leaves to cherish her memory, daughter Annette Dale, grandchildren; James (Lanesha) Dale, Stephanie McWhorter, great grandchildren; Khalil, Corpal Levi McWhorter (N. Carolina), Areayahna (Jonathan) Martinez (Rantoul), Cody McWhorter (Tennessee), Ayvali Dale (Bloomington), Kenzlie and Georjia Patterson (Clinton) and Brooklyn Nesby .
