

Bloomington – Linda L. Robb, 85, of Melton Drive, (Covell) Bloomington, passed away at 2:10 PM on Saturday February 7, 2015 at Advocate-Bromenn Medical Center in Normal. She was born on September 14, 1929 in Bloomington to W. Neal and Eva (Henry) McCue. She married Frederick R. Robb in Bloomington on June 11, 1949. He survives along with six children, Frederick N. “Rick” Robb of Bloomington, Stanley (Paula) Robb of McLean, Jeffrey (Connie) Robb of Farmer City, John (Candace) Robb of Morton, Teresa (Ervin) McClure of Shirley, Debra (Kelley) Maxwell of Morton; 17 Grandchildren; 21 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great Great Grandchildren; and one sister Myra Komnick of Bloomington.
She was preceded by her parents, one son Douglas Robb, one daughter Mary Kathleen Grimm, one grandson Bryan Robb, and one great grandson Joseph Robb.
Linda was a dedicated wife and mother. She loved her family greatly. A family that extended beyond her own children to all those she met. Linda spent many loving hours supporting her family at county and state fairs, baking for her family, and joyfully watching her grandchildren’s programs. A true rock for her family, Linda’s sparkling blue eyes and laugh will be greatly missed.
She had worked for State Farm and was a dietary assistant at Illinois State University Food Service. She was a member of the First Christian Church, a member of the McLean County Association for Home and Community Education, a 4-H leader, and the Women of the Moose.
Cremation will be accorded. Friends may call upon the family from 5:00 to 7:00 PM on Friday February 13, 2015 at the First Christian Church of Bloomington, 401 West Jefferson, Bloomington, IL 61701. Burial of ashes will be at East Lawn Memorials Gardens. Memorials may be made to her church or to the Dale Township Fire Department, 8051 East 1100 North Road, Bloomington, IL 61705.
