Lois B. Riley

Lois was born June 26, 1921 to George William and Cora Evelyn (Sutton) Weidig. She married

Herbert Charles Riley on August 22, 1939.

Lois had two passions in her life-Her love for her family and her love and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

She was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Normal. She loved to play Bingo at the senior center.

Lois was known for her phenomenal cooking and baking skills as well as her gardening and flowers.

Survivors include her children: Shirley (Charlie) Barker or Normal, Bob Riley of Normal; two grandchildren: Kevin

Roseman of Normal and Kristi (Bob) Flegel of Bloomington; four great-grandchildren and three great-great

grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

She was proceeded in death by her parents; husband on December 11, 1993; a son James and an infant son

George Earl; two sisters and seven brothers.

The family would like to thank the nurses and staff on the third floor of OSF St. Joseph Medical Center, OSF

Hospice, Dr. Fernandes and staff at the Community Cancer Center, Dr. Gomez and staff at Illinois Cancer

Care and Bloomington Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center for the loving and compassionate care that was

given to "Miss Lois".

Visitation will be from 10am until the 12pm service on Friday September 6, 2013 at East Lawn Funeral Home,

1102 Airport Rd., Bloomington, IL 61704. The Dr. Rev. David Rumley will officiate. Burial will be at Park Hill

Cemetery in Bloomington.
