

Mabel Y. Waldron, 79, formerly of Bloomington, passed away at 3:24 p.m. on Wednesday, October 5, 2011 at Select Specialty Hospital at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Little Rock, AR.
She was born June 12, 1932 in LeRoy, IL, daughter of James Lewis and Goldie Whitesell Grammer. She married Hiram Uria Waldron on July 13, 1948 in Clinton, IL. He preceded her in death on March 31, 1989 in Bloomington, IL. She was also preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Victor Waldron, Sr and Michael Waldron; one grandson, John Glenn and one brother, John Richard Grammer.
Surviving are one daughter, Diane (Homer) Glenn of Fairfield Bay, AR; six grandchildren, Malisa (Kevin) Baugh, Malinda (John) Bays, Mashell (Kurt) Klemme, Victor Waldron, Jr, Michael Waldron and Lisa Glenn and one sister, Mildrede Oliver of Bloomington, IL.
Mabel worked as a cashier at Farm & Fleet in Bloomington, retiring in October of 1989. She enjoyed sewing and making quilts for her family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at East Lawn Funeral Home in Bloomington, where visitation will be one hour prior to services. Interment will be at East Lawn Memorial Gardens in Bloomington, IL.
