Margaret McReynolds

Margaret was born February 6, 1939 in Normal to Mary Eilene Shawgo. She married Frank R. McReynolds on August 23, 1957 in Normal. She and Frank took over the family business that Frank’s grandfather started in 1895 originally a shoe repair shop and then became McReynolds Menswear, retiring in 1984.

She loved to read, gamble on the riverboats and in Las Vegas, dogs, travel and camping but most of all she loved spending time with her family.

Survivors include her two sons; David (Debra) McReynolds and Chris McReynolds; five grandchildren, Jacob, Steven and Brady McReynolds, Ann and John Ziemkowski; six great grandchildren, Aaliyha, Barrett, Tyton, Kannon, Alexis and Taylon.

She is preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Funeral services will be held Sunday August 21, 2016 at 12:00p.m. at the East Lawn Funeral Home, 1102 Airport Road, Bloomington, IL. Visitation will be held Sunday morning from 10:00 until time of services. Burial will follow in the East Lawn Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers the family request donation be made to the McLean County Humane Society.
