Margaret Maggie Regina Evans Meyers

Margaret Regina Meyers, 79, of Danvers, passed away at 7:56 p.m. on Monday, March 14, 2011 at Manor Care in Normal.

She was born June 11, 1931 in McLean, IL, daughter of Emmett and Lydia (Smith) Evans. She married Carol Meyers on June 28, 1948 in Piggott Arkansas, he survives her.

Margaret is also survived by two daughters, Kimberley (Ray) Curry of Minier and Deborah C. (Robert) Craig of Mesquite,TX; five sons, Jeffrey (Joan) Meyers of Normal, Danny (Charlotte) Meyers of Bloomington, Brian Meyers of Normal, Greg (Wendy) Meyers of Bloomington and Curt (Jean) Meyers of Downs. Also surviving are ten grandchildren, Aaron Craig, Justin, Nicole, Adam, Joshua, Jacob and Mikayla Meyers, Sara Ditchen, Alexa Curry and Joseph King; seven great-grandchildren, Robert Craig, Emma, Owen and Ian Meyers, Chase, Olivia and Sydney Ditchen; one sister, Judith (John) Probus and two brothers, Sammy and Bobby Joe Evans.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Vivian Evans, Virginia Wirick and Beatrice Bell and two brothers, Ronald and Jimmy Evans.

She enjoyed a long career at Eureka Williams in Bloomington until she retired in 1972.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 18, 2011 at East Lawn Funeral Home in Bloomington, where visitation will take place one hour prior to services. Burial will take place immediately following services at East Lawn Memorial Gardens in Bloomington, IL
