Marilyn Rose Woolridge

She was born on November 21,1933 to Clarence and Willamena in Farmer City, Illinois. She married Thomas "Ray" Woolridge on June 15, 1951, enjoying 65 years together until his passing.

She enjoyed gardening, baking, and traveling. Marilyn loved her family very much.

Marilyn leaves to cherish her memory her sons, Tom (Kathy) Woolridge of Atlanta, IL and Jeff Woolridge of Leroy, IL; grandchildren, TJ (Wendi) Woolridge, Jason (Cassie) Woolridge, Les Stronkirch, Brandy (Jarrad) Hayes, Tyler (Cassie) Woolridge, Dylan Woolridge (Kaitlyn Baxter), Gary Ray Woolridge and Carrie Hammer –Chapman and a host of great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind her sisters-in-law, Rita, Betty, Janice, Charlotte and Rachel.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; sons, Gary and James Woolridge; brothers, Raymond and Jerry and a sister, Betty.

A graveside service will be held at 11 am on Saturday, September 13, 2025 at Oakgrove Cemetery in LeRoy, Illinois. Cremation rites have been accorded by East Lawn Funeral Home, Bloomington, Illinois.
