Marjorie Irene Baize

Marjorie was born April 18, 1933 in West Township, Illinois to Henry Ray and Mabel (Stiger) Harsha. On September 28, 1951 she married Edward C Baize, they enjoyed 66 years of marriage. They are the parents of Edward C Jr. (Roxa Ann) of Towanda, Loretta (Gerry) Reeder of Versailles, KY, and Janice (Joe) Leuchtenberg of Towanda. Also surviving are five grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and a sister, Diane Harsha (Keith Goodwin) of Bloomington.

She was preceded in death by her husband on February 19, 2018; two sisters; one brother and a daughter-in-law.

Marjorie worked for many years alongside her husband at their business, as the bookkeeper of Eddie's Truck Stop in Towanda. After their business closed, she worked for the CADC (IRS distribution center) for 11 years before retiring.

Marjorie attended regularly and was a member of College Avenue Baptist Church until her husband’s illness. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star for more than 50 years.

A visitation will be held from 10 - 11 am on Monday, May 4, 2026 at East Lawn Funeral Home, Bloomington. A graveside service will be held at 11:30 am on Monday at East Lawn Memorial Gardens, Bloomington, with Rev. Chad Sparks officiating.
