She was born November 8, 1961 in Beardstown, IL to Melvin and Margaret (Schnepper) Fair. On January 1, 2015 she married Rebecca “Bec” Sweeney.
Von loved to spend time with her family especially her grandchildren.
Survivors include her wife “Bec” of Springfield; children: Natasha (Noah Hutton) Sweeney of Bloomington, Ron Sweeney of Bloomington, Chad Sweeney of Bloomington and Matthew Sweeney of Springfield; grandchildren: Kersten, Logan, Payton, Cloey and Scarlett; siblings: Daryle (Janet) Fair of Beardstown, Betty (Larry) Briney of Beardstown, Marilyn (Mike) Kozma of New York and Ulinda Eilers of Colorado; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister and a niece.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 pm Thursday January 22, 2015 at East Lawn Funeral Home, 1102 Airport Rd. Bloomington, IL. Burial will be private.
