Matthew Beyer

He was born on January 11, 2010 in Peoria. Surviving are his parents, Matthew Beyer and Jessica Burkhart of Bloomington; maternal grandparents, Dan and Lynda Burkhart of Tipton, IN; paternal grandparents, Tom and Karen Beyer of Bloomington; maternal great-grandparents, Peter and Meryle Burkhart of Nampa, ID and Thomas and Suzanne Blackburn of Wilmington, DE and paternal great-grandmothers, Nancy Cox of Bloomington and Cathy Compton of Bloomington. Also surviving are four aunts, Amber, Kelsey and Ashley Beyer and Lyndsey Alvis; two uncles, Zachary Alvis and Christopher Powell and two cousins, Nathanael and Madilyn Alvis, all of Bloomington, IL.

He was preceded in death by his paternal great-grandfathers, Ronald Beyer and Gene Compton, Sr; his aunt, Brittany Beyer and his paternal great-great grandmother, Mary Ann Beyer.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m .on Thursday, August 23, 2012 at East Lawn Funeral Home in Bloomington, where visitation will be one hour prior to services. The Rev. J. Todd Keller will officiate. Interment will follow services at East Lawn Memorial Gardens, Bloomington, IL.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude, Midwest Affiliate.
