Michael M. Fortney, 50, of Bloomington, IL, passed away June 13, 2023. He was born to Michael D. and Hope D. (Towner) Fortney, December 30, 1972. They proceeded him in death. Surviving are an aunt, Diana Morin, uncles Pat (Mary) Fortney, Donnie (Diane) Towner, Byron (Kelli) Towner and Tim Towner, as well as several cousins.
Michael attended Unit 5 schools. He had a great affinity for computers and spent much of his time working with them. He loved his pets and enjoyed spending the holidays with family. He had a wry sense of humor and will be missed.
Entombment was at East Lawn Memorial Gardens in Bloomington, where a private family service was held. Memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Central Illinois.
