Michael L. Henson

Michael was born May 17, 1955 in Bloomington to Jerry L. and Shirley J. (Sumner) Henson.

Surviving are his parents, of Leroy; two brothers Jerry A. Henson, Normal and Rick (Jackie Hauger) Henson, Orange Park, FL; maternal grandmother Lucille Sumner, LeRoy; aunt and uncle Harold and Virginia Fowler, Bloomington and uncle Walt Sumner, Canyon Lake, TX.

Michael was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Sidney W. Sumner and paternal grandparents, Dorothy and Charles Henson.

Funeral services for Michael will be Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at 1:00pm at East Lawn Funeral Home, Bloomington. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will follow at East Lawn Memorial Gardens, Bloomington.

Michael enjoyed working at the Occupational Development Center in Bloomington until its closing. He also worked at Alexander Manufacturing Co. in Towanda for several years.
