Rosalie was born on January 18, 1943, in Manhattan, KS, the daughter of Robert Lee and Mildred Wallace Corbin. She married John Tobias on May 29, 1965 in Kansas. He survives.
Also surviving are their children; John (Renee) Corbin Tobias of Phoenix, AZ; Eric Lee Tobias of Lakeville, MN; and Tisha Ortega of Bloomington; four grandchildren; Rose, Lilly, Anna, and Michael. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Rosalie worked at the Indianapolis zoo as a gift shop supervisor for many years. Later in life, she worked as a tax preparer for H & R Block. She loved her cats dearly. She also enjoyed being outdoors planting flowers.
Per Rosalie’s wishes, cremation has been accorded and there will be no services. A private burial will be held at a later date in Funks Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Miller Park Zoological Society. Online condolences may be shared with the family at eastlawn-bloomington.com
