

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 4, 2024, at 10 a.m. at East Lawn Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. Interment will follow the service at East Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Bloomington, IL.
Pamela was born in Lincoln, IL on December 16, 1955 to James William and Virginia Mae (Olsen) Hayden. She married the love of her life, William Rexroat, on June 16, 1984.
Pamela had a personal relationship with god and prior to her illness, attended Eastview Christian Church. Pamela loved to spend time outdoors, took pictures of everything, and lived for spending time with her family.
Pamela is survived by her husband, William Rexroat; children: Jason (Nikki) Dalbey of Bloomington IL; Roy (Chere) Rexroat of Virginia; Jaimee Rexroat of Bloomington, IL; Patrick (Chasity) Rexroat of Bloomington IL; Grandchildren: Marissa Rexroat; Jaleaha Hatchett; Maleah Hatchett; Alexandra Rexroat; One great-grandchild: Emerie Rexroat. She is also survived by her siblings: Dennis (Sara) Hayden, Sharon (Kevin) Hummel, Mike (Roz) Hayden, Nancy Sutton; special nephew Jeremy Sutton, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Pamela is preceded in death by her parents James and Virginia Hayden.
Pamela retired from Illinois State University in 2014, where she worked for 15 years as an Office Support Specialist for the women’s basketball and volleyball teams, and was an avid supporter of Redbird Athletics who especially loved traveling with the teams.
