Patricia Ann Lynch, 81, of Normal, Illinois, passed on April 18, 2026, surrounded by her daughter Becky and her children. She was born on August 29, 1944, in Kansas City, Missouri, to Raymond and Rose Marie Ryan. She married Leonard Craig of Bloomington in 1968.
Known affectionately as “Jazz,” Pat was a woman of unmistakable individuality—often remembered for a tough exterior that nonetheless sheltered a soft, loving heart. Pat brought her own distinctive spirit to the lives around her, and those who knew her best understood the steady care and devotion that lived beneath her strength.
Pat loved karaoke and never missed karaoke night. Many came to know her as “Jazz,” a familiar and welcome presence whose enthusiasm and consistency made an ordinary evening feel like a tradition. An avid Elton John fan, she also found joy in reading and expressed herself through writing, including her own short stories. Above all, Pat treasured time spent with her grandchildren Kelli, Ashlynne, and Keegan, taking pride in the moments shared together. She was especially overjoyed about a great grandson that her grandson’s wife Haley is pregnant with and due in mid August.
She leaves to cherish her memories of her daughters, Karen (Gerald) Jeter, Kathleen Jordano, and Becky (Andrew) Swan; grandchildren, Derrick Jeter, Kelli Swan, Joshua Jordano, Ashlynne Swan, Jason Jordano, Keegan (Haley) Swan, and Alyssa (Ben) Campbell; one great-grandchild on the way; and a host of family and friends at The Loft. Pat will be missed by all who knew her and loved her.
Pat was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Kelli Marie Craig.
The family of Pat would like to thank the staff at The Loft in Normal for all the care given to her, especially the friendship they provided her and the patience and love expressed to her.
