Patricia L. Potter, 79, of Bloomington, IL passed away at 9:46 am Saturday, March 2, 2013. She was born May 31, 1933 on the farm in McLean County, IL to Delmar and Sarah Lake. Patricia married Gerald W. Potter on June 1, 1952.
Surviving are her four sons: Jerry (Kathy) Potter of Decatur, IL, Randy (Phyllis) Potter of Warren, IN, Mike (Amy) Potter of Bloomington, IL, and Jeff (Janis) Potter of Fairbury, IL, five grandchildren: Chuck Potter, Kaylyn Matic, Kirk Potter, Sara Maurer, and Jeffrey Potter, nine great grandchildren, and her sister Ella Mae Shoemaker of Colfax, IL. She was preceded in death by her husband Gerald and brother Vernon Lake.
Patricia was a homemaker who loved to spend time with her family and friends. During her life, she had worked at several part-time jobs including Tamara’s Estate Sales. Her hobbies included quilting, sewing, crossword puzzles, and collecting Depression glass.
