Dear Ruth & family, I got up yesterday and read the obits and saw Pat’s name my heart sank 💔. I have so many memories of him... his humor, his willingness to be protective of young girls if he saw one being abused in any way. He was never one to menace words! When I first met him I was a bit leary of him only to learn he was a big ole teddy bear! We quickly became rather good friends. I met Ruth a bit after Pat and became friends with both of them. He could make me laugh until I thought I would pee on myself😂. We’ve lost so many wonderful friends and great people! Ruth, if I was still in Illinois you know I’d be there! My heart is with you my friend 😳🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 Linda Wolfe

We first met Pat when Ruthie went to work at the Pipe 'n Knife store in Eastland Mall. He was always a jovial human being and loved who ever he came to know. From there our friendship grew. He always liked to pick on me no matter where I saw him.
Thanks Pat for always being there whenever we needed something. You didn't hesitate to help. You will be sorely missed by all who knew you or ever came in contact with you.
I know the last few years where very hard on you physically and you struggled a lot. May you be at peace with God and rest in his arms soundly.
Love you and will miss your music. I expect to hear it when I get to heaven with you..
Love, Linda

I remember helping tear down the shed at your old house (around 1990?). It was work but we made fun time of it! Loved coming to Scuttlebutte and listening to him sing in Bounty Hunter! His voice was so much like Molly Hatchet! I will be out of town for the service but you are all in my prayers!

My heart hurts for your entire family. Pat has always been one of the kindest people I have ever met and he and Ruthie created such a loving family. His legacy (family) will keep his memory alive forever. Glad I had the pleasure to know him.
