Peter "Pete" Klein

Pete was born July 28, 1929 in Tuscola to Martin and Amelia Klein. He married Betty Ploense on September 27, 1946; she survives.

Also surviving are 2 daughters, Judy (Gary) Gillespie, Dwight and Joyce (Doug) Phillips, New River, AZ; grandchildren, Michele (Mark) Nothdorf, Wonder Lake and Bryan (Nikki) Gillespie, Scottsdale, AZ; great-grandchildren, Elijah and Erin Nothdorf, Wonder Lake and Skyla and Hudson Gillespie, Scottsdale, AZ; and step-grandson, Christopher Phillips, Danvers.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 5 brothers, and 1 sister.

Funeral services for Pete will be held at 11:00am Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at East Lawn Funeral Home, Father Ric Schneider will officiate. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 10:00am till the time of the service at the funeral home. Interment will follow at East Lawn Memorial Gardens, Bloomington.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
