He was born February 9, 1950 to Raleigh E. and Evelyn (Lehman) Woodward in Tillamook, OR.
Ray is survived by his children Tony Woodward of Austin, TX, Heather Woodward of Bloomington; three grandchildren Allison Woodward, Landon Vandegraft, Noah Vandegraft; sister Kay (Chuck) Smith of Bloomington; two nephews Erik Paul and Travis Rohde.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Ray proudly served in the United States Army. After his discharge, he took to the roads working as a Truck Driver until his retirement. He enjoyed many different hobbies, like gardening and target shooting with his friends. He was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed all the motorcycle activities he could get involved in.
Cremation rites have been accorded.
A memorial service will be held at Evangelical Free Church of Bloomington-Normal 2910 E. Lincoln St. Bloomington, IL on Saturday, November 23rd at 1:00pm.
Memorial contributions may be made in Ray’s name to the Community Cancer Center of Normal or to the Evangelical Free Church.
