Richard "Rick" Eugene Gremer

Per Rick's wishes, there will be a private family service and there will be no visitation. Entombment will take place at East Lawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, Bloomington.

He was born December 1, 1936 in Bloomington, son of Albert and Florence Ehrmantraut Gremer.

Surviving are three daughters, Cynthia (Steve) Kosloskus, Bloomington, Jill Irwin, Mesa, AZ and Cathy Stowers, Normal; three grandchildren, Dylan Kosloskus, Brett Irwin and Brooke Irwin.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Rick graduated from Trinity High School in 1954 and attended Illinois Central College.

After his schooling, he worked for Felmley Construction, where he helped to build the G.E. plant, and later was employed by G.E. for five years. After G.E., Rick worked as a Consumer Relations Manager for Admiral for 27 years. He then retired after 16 years at the Eureka Company. Rick was proud to have a 50 year-career in the workforce. Rick was always considered to be a very hard worker, both in the companies he worked for and in taking care of his home and property.

Rick was also active in the Central Catholic Alumni Association, where he was a member of its Medallion Club. He was also an active member of the Cadillac-LaSalle Club International.
