Richard Rich Layne Wills

Richard Layne Wills, 35, of Bloomington, passed away at 5:15 p.m. on Sunday, June 19, 2011 at his home.

He was born September 20, 1975 in Bloomington, IL, son of Kenneth R. and Loretta Little Wills. He married Tracy Heck on May 7, 2011 in Bloomington.

Surviving are his wife of Bloomington; his father, Kenneth (Lynn) Wills of Bloomington; one step-son, Dameyon Heck and two step-daughters, Taeler and Alexa Jordan, all of Bloomington. Also surviving are one brother, Dewey (Jennifer) Wills and one sister, Shelli Wills, both of Bloomington; three step-sisters, Dana Trunnell of Chicago, Gina (Mark) Eldredge of Bloomington and Toni (Jarrod) Hunt of Heyworth; one aunt, Tammy (Jeff) Sanders of Chenoa and one nephew, Brandon Sanders of Chenoa.

He was preceded in death by his mother.

Richard worked as a self-employed carpenter.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00am on Monday, June 27, 2011 at Park United Methodist Church in Bloomington. Visitation will be held one hour prior at 10:00am at Park United Methodist Church in Bloomington. Cremation rites have been accorded and East Lawn Funeral Home in Bloomington is in charge of arrangements.

Rich was an avid Chicago Bears fan and enjoyed spending time with his friends and family. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
