On behalf of the Montgomery side of the family - (my grandmother Lillian Montgomery Bowers) we express our sympathy on the death of our cousin Robert. It is sad that through a decision made over 100 years ago we really were never able to know each other. It grieves us still - for we are blood - despite the fact that we have not been close. As people who believe in the power of prayer and the promises of Jesus Christ - we will pray for your family - and rejoice that Robert is at his eternal home. God bless you. We are family. Joy, Shirley and family.....
Was sad to hear of Uncle Bob's passing. He was always a man of class and dignity. Had such a warm personality. Joy, I have great memories as a child when you guys would come over to Indiana. Uncle Bob would always greet us as if we had just been together even though it may have been several months.
My condolences

Bob, my forever-young buddy, I am going to miss you. We shared some lies on the golf course, some good times on the dance floor, and possibly a scotch or two. I cherish the memories. Love you always.
