Bob was born on July 4th, 1949 in Davenport, IA to Richard and Ella Patzer.
On February 14th, 1970 Bob married to Linda Fleck in Moline, IL.
He is survived by wife, Linda; daughters: Leslie Casel of Manchester, MO and Wendy Seban of Cedarburg, WI; grandchildren: Emma Casel of Manchester, MO and Sam Seban of Cedarburg, WI; brothers: Wayne Patzer of Bettendorf, IA, Mike Patzer of Topeka, KS, and Dick Patzer Jr. of Eldridge, IA; and sisters: Donna Fleck of Vinton, IA and Kory Patzer of DeWitt, IA.
Bob was preceded in passing by his parents.
Bob grew up in Eldridge, Iowa and worked in the family business, Eldridge Welding. He graduated from North Scott High School in 1967 and went on to work at the Caterpillar Plant in Davenport, IA for 22 years, at Blackhawk Foundry Davenport, as a Quality Engineer for 14 years, Kone Elevator as a Quality Engineer for 7 years in McKinney, Texas, at Mechanical Devices as Quality Manager for 5 years in Bloomington, Illinois, and as a Quality Manager at Camtek for 7 years in Bloomington, Illinois before retiring in 2018.
Bob loved playing softball, golf, shooting pool, fishing, woodcarving, history and spending time with family and friends.
A celebration of life service will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church Bloomington at a later date.
